CAMERI LOGISTICS HUB: THE CAPITOL HAS VOTED ON THE PLANNING AGREEMENT
A 152,000-square-foot site will rise along Statale 32. The capitol has voted on the planning agreement.
A new 152,000-square-meter logistics hub is to be built along the Statale 32 in the municipality of Cameri. The process requires neighboring municipalities to approve a planning agreement that is coordinated by the Province: after Cameri, which gave the green light last Dec. 21, it was Galliate's turn on Jan. 19; yesterday, Jan. 23, in Novara, the agreement passed with majority votes.
The mayor said, "The initiative is by Glp srl, based in Milan, which was entrusted to the urban planning and architecture firm "The Blossom Avenue Partners," which had already handled the design of the Kering hub in Trecate. It is a project that goes hand in hand with the development of the ring road and also includes the construction of a new traffic circle to provide access to the hub. When the proposal was made to us, we immediately welcomed it since it is a settlement outside the built-up area, in a strategic location.”
